Winter Pine Squirrel

Two red squirrels peek out from their winter hideaways, tucked into cavities in an old pine. Snow blankets the branches around them, but inside those holes it's warm enough to wait out the cold. The muted grays and whites of the winter woods make those rusty-red faces pop. It's a cozy scene—home is where you find it, even if it's just a hole in a tree.
